QRails, a cloud-based, open API issuer processor enabling clients in the US, Latin America, and Europe to deliver earned wage access and other innovative digital payment solutions, today shared Brian Brinkley’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer.

Gerard Griffin, Co-Founder of QRails and Chief Executive Officer since July 2019, will take on the role of Chairman.

The Google Wallet Co-Founder has been a key member of the QRails leadership team since 2019. As Chief Technology Officer, Brinkley leveraged his payments and technology expertise to drive significant improvements in the QRails tech stack, a key component to the success and delivery of its recently launched earned wage access product, AnyDay. In 2020, The Financial Technology Report named him one of the Top 25 Fintech CTOs.

“It is with great pleasure that we announce Brian Brinkley as our new CEO,” said QRails Co-Founder and Chairman Gerard Griffin. “Brian is a true visionary with an outstanding ability to conceptualize, execute, and lead. We look forward to the path ahead for QRails and AnyDay with him at the helm.”

As CEO, Brinkley will continue to implement fintech solutions that further establish QRails’ and AnyDay’s ability to provide leading API-driven payment products.

“2021 holds great promise for QRails and AnyDay,” noted Brian Brinkley. “We have an exceptional team of individuals working together to reshape the payments industry, and I am really excited to be leading the team.”
