BankIslami has deployed a biometric ATM at the Airmen Golf Club & Recreational Park in Karachi, Pakistan, according to a report in The Nation.

The bank has put a special emphasis on digital banking and has been a pioneer of biometric ATMs and one-touch banking that lets users perform any transaction with just their thumb, freeing the user from carrying debit cards or checkbooks. The bank has also completely revamped its online app to help customers still wary of digital banking.

Being one of the most technologically advanced banks with 340-plus branches in over 116 cities, BankIslami provides an innovative environment for the communities it serves.

“We are proud of our armed forces’ unwavering courage and sacrifice and this collaboration is BankIslami’s contribution to honor our nation’s soldiers. We pledge to continue facilitating the forces through diverse services and solutions,” Syed Amir Ali, president, BankIslami CEO, told the news outlet.
